What is Reiki?
Reiki comes from the Japanese words "Rei" meaning "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and "Ki" meaning "life force energy". It differs from other energy work in that the practitioner has been attuned to this energy. In a Reiki session, the energy is not dependent on the practitioner, but is given for the highest good for the person receiving it.

**A way to unblock those places where one holds tension and stress.

What to Expect in a Reiki Session
The client is fully clothed and either lies on a massage table or sits in a chair. The practitioner uses light touch hand placements either on or above the body. The practitioner is the tool through which the energy flows and it goes to those places in the body that need it. After a session, the client feels relaxed and balanced.
Individual Reiki Session
A Reiki session lasts between 60-75 mins. I also offer "acupressure with chakra alignment" that can be included at the beginning of a Reiki session and the combination is very effective for relaxation and stress relief.

Taken a Reiki class and want to practice your Reiki skills? Here is the place to do it.
A time to practice and receive "hands on" Reiki, connect with other Reiki students (with any teacher) and discuss Reiki related questions. Must have taken at least Reiki I. Any lineage welcome.
Cost is free but an item donation to the Waukesha Food Pantry is appreciated.
Reiki Classes
Reiki I Attunement Class
Easily Learn to use Reiki on Yourself and Others. This class includes meditation, Reiki I attunement, instruction, practice, manual according to Arline Rowden and certificate of completion.
Reiki II Attunement Class
This class is for those who have already taken Reiki I Attunement class either with me or another master teacher. In this class you will learn the Reiki symbols, how to use them for absentee Reiki and to how to enhance hands on Reiki using them. This class includes meditation, Reiki II attunement, instruction, practice, manual and certificate.
Reiki III: Master Practitioner
This class is for those who have already taken Reiki I Attunement class either with me or another master teacher. In this class, you will learn additional Reiki symbols and the Reiki breathing technique which can be used to enhance your own energy and the absentee Reiki process. This class includes a meditation, Reiki III attunement, instruction, practice, mentoring, manual and certificate.
